Be aware Who is Sensing.
Using the senses as a door to awareness. This is a meditation I use to the REIKI and Meditation lessons.
1st stage: Sitting comfortably look at someone, or an object, any object – the wall a flower, a tree. Remember that you are seeing through the eyes. Your eyes are just windows. You are the one inside looking through the eyesFocus attention on the one behind the eyes.
2nd stage: Close your eyes. Listen to the music (can be a music that comes out of Nature, birds singing, river flowing). Remembering that your ears are just receivers. Sound travels in circles towards each of us. You are always in the center of sound. You hear sound from your silent center.
3rd Stage: Remaining with eyes closed, touch any surface or object. When touching, just touch through the hand and remember the inner one who is hidden behind, sensing the touch. Be sensitive, feel different textures and remember all your senses are just doors, receiving stations, instruments, receptions. You are hidden behind.
4th Stage: Eyes closed. Lie down, silent and still.
This is a great meditation for awareness, also a summer meditation you can easily do in a forest, near a river, or near a waterfall, or on the beach listening the waves and looking the sunrise or the sunset.

Every stage is 15 minutes, so the hole meditation is one hour.
Otherwise you can do it in Nature
with sounds of Nature, without holding a time, just let your body to follow the time in each stage. The only thing you have to pay attention is on siting to keep your back straight, and to breathe slowly in belly (second chakra).
