What is Reiki?

Reiki is a method to be able to unite your Higher Self, your guardian Angel with the healing energy that exists in Nature and in expansion in the Universe.

Will you ask me why. Do I need Reiki to do this?

I will answer to you. No ! If you are a meditator, if you are systematically meditating you can succeed without reiki to connect with the healing forces of Nature and the Universe.

Yes! Because even if you are a meditator, Reiki helps you to energize and is a magical healing system. So, the answer is Yes and No it depents from you.

Reiki discovered by Mikaomi Usui in the late 19th century and very soon became known worldwide. When I met Reiki in 2000, it had just started to become known in Greece. I remember going to Reiki from magnetism, without a doubt, with the certainty that it is a magical healing system.

Although I will tell you here that my first practical experience with Reiki was negative. Because I was receiving my first Reiki treatment from a gentleman, at a Meditation center I was going to, and this gentleman after the treatment…when the feeling I had from the Reiki energy was fantastic.

I remember immersing myself in deep meditation, and being transported to an ocean. I saw myself as a small child playing with a dolphin, I caught the dolphin του by its fin and we traveled together in the sea !!!!!!

I really love the sea water, swimming in the sea, and my first experience from Reiki was a magic, a real magic. I had already started to deal with Bio-energy, but I had realized that Reiki was taking me to deeper levels within me and higher spiritual levels.

But I say negative, because the gentleman who gave me the Reiki treatment after the incredible experience and feeling I had wanted to have sex with me. This guy considered it normal to have sex with me after the session !!!!

I remember he said that ” It would be very nice after this energy that has been created to have sex.” I remember being shocked by what he was saying, and if I knew that his purpose in using Reiki Energy was to have sex with me, I would not allow the session.

How did it happen? He came and caught the conversation with me in the center of Meditation, I had migraines at that time and he suggested that Reiki would help me (and it is true, so I overcame and cured my migraines with the method of self-healing, giving Reiki to myself).

So, he came in a friendly way and asked me if I wanted a reiki treatment. I was also reading books on reiki at the time, so I accepted his suggestion for reiki therapy. There was a treatment room in the center and we went there. He was in charge of that Meditation Center.

Anyway, at least I didn’t go down without explaining myself first. Closing the door and leaving there I kept only the magic of the healing energy, and I kept something else, ( a reason tha I said my story), that Reiki energy has nothing to do with who the person giving you the Reiki is. In my case this gentleman was a slut, sex addict, but Reiki Energy worked just fine for me.

So, it did not stop me. Maybe even because I am a person who from a very young age believes in the healing powers of human hands. The gift that man has to heal. The gift of self-healing. I have faith in these Powers.

No, not only did the negative part of the experience prevent me, but the opposite, I was introduced to Reiki, worked as a Reiki Therapist and Teacher for many years.

Reiki, then, unites you with the healing Powers of the Universe.

Re, means energy from the Universe and ki, personal energy, emotion. So, the energy of the Universe passes through your own energy of emotion and goes to the receiver. And at the same time, through this process, a cleansing and strengthening of your own energy takes place. I can say a lot about Reiki and I will mention it again in another article. What the picture says is that Reiki is an ancient healing system.

The treatments bring about total balance and harmony, as they function on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level.They release blocked energy, bring calm and cleanse the body of toxins.Reiki is defined as the vital energy of life, whose action and function are found in the Universe, Nature and all creatures.

He who has the Reiki energy can transmit it to someone else, accepted, through the contact with the hands, or with the voice, or with the eyes, or simply with the presence next to him.
